Visit Activities:


Information Session: Yes - Video followed by Q&A with admissions personel. Group of about 15 kids with parents

Campus Tour: Yes - Split into different groups. Each with a couple of kids and their parents. Tour guide was nice and informative. She engaged the kids and had them talking by the end of the tour.

Looked like a small NC college. Some older buildings, some newer ones and some contruction/remodeling going on.

Everthing looked in good shape. Communications school seemed state of the art.

Saw a typical freshman dorm with bath down the hall.

Nice, clean and safe looking.

The town is small. The food choices close to campus seem to be few.

Campus Visit Notes for Elon University


Visit Description:

A very good visit.
Campus was active and kids were everywhere.
Exams were just about to start.
Plenty of parking near addmissions and easy to find.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Burlington. About 10 mins away.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Elon is about 10 mins off I 40.
