Visit Activities:

Campus Tour: Yes - I went on a tour led by 2 students and they were very friendly and nice. Emory's entire vibe seemed to fit me very well except for the lack of sports.

Campus:

The statistics say that diversity exists grearly but it really doesn't. It seemed to be 50/50 white and east asian to me! (a few other races here and there). Everyone seemed to be friendly though

Everyone was really helpful, even when I was walking around the bookstore with my mom.

Very clean! Everything is so new but yet has so much character to it. I loved it.

All of the dorms are being updated by the end of the year. Better than almost any other school. They were small but yet it didn't feel too crowded. Definitely enough for a college student

I felt safe until I saw that hospital literally in the middle of campus. There were quite a few smokers on campus. The hospital patients didn't cause any inconveniences, but it was just... "

Beautiful campus right in downtown Atlanta but in its own secluded area. The student body just looked "smart" and carried themselves in a certain way (which was good). I loved it here.

Great location in midtown Atlanta. Couldn't ask for more.

Campus Visit Notes for Emory University

Visit Description:

I'm from a metro Atlanta suburb so I am familiar with the area. Emory has always been referred to with prestige where I'm from. I definitely missed the sports atmosphere. Where I live, sports are EVERYTHING and even my family is HUGE on sports. I think I can get over not going to a college sports school since the Georgia Dome and Philips Arena are nearby. Also, the area of Druid Hills/Virginia Highlands is very fashionable and young, so I really fell in love with this given my personality.
