Campus Visit Notes for Emory University

Visit Description:

We were given a tour by a male jr. student. He was very personable and funny. Didn't know some answers, but was so laid back nobody cared. The info session was excellent overview of the application review process, some advice about "personalizing your essay". Getting 2 or 3 recs from teachers, but limit it. They look at every piece of paper. Had students go around introduce themselves and say something about where they are from and something interesting about themselves. I was wondering if they do this to remember certain students that stand out and write something in their file??????
Good visit overall. D liked Emory, but did not love it.
