Information Session: Yes - when asked how easy it was to change to business or foreign service adm. rep replied that you can't but most incoming freshman know what they want to major in (that got a chuckle from the parents
Campus Tour: Yes - Unfortunately it rained on and off. Tour guide seemed a bit obsessed with the prestige of Georgetown which was a turn off.

Campus Visit Notes for Georgetown University
We were disappointed with our visit. Georgetown seemed a bit more like an academic factory...shuffle you in, shuffle you out. Not impressed at all with the campus although it was a dreary day so I hope that had something to do with it. Terrible job routing you to the parking garage. Every time we thought we were there we were told to snake around these traffic jammed side streets to another entrance. Once there, the place was dark, dimly lit and kind of scary. Did not see students walking together at all. Everyone seemed to be walking solo and there didn't seem to be alot of activity on campus except for all the parents and students visiting! Thought that it would be a bit more preppy and alot of the students seemed almost sloppy with an urban grunge look to them which was surprising.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
Savoy which was about a mile away on Wisconsin. Nice boutique hotel with complimentary parking
