Visit Activities:


Admissions Interview: Yes - Standard interview, with the usual questions, conducted by a member of the admissions staff.

Information Session: Yes - The "regular" person was not in for some reason that day but the lady who filled in did a great job and had trouble only answering very specific questions. We were all given brochures with l

Campus Tour: Yes - Campus was great, a little cold when we went up, but still very beautiful. Average sized, maybe on the smaller side. Ate breakfast in the dining hall, decent food. Facilities looked well-maintained.

By far the friendliest students out of any campus I visited. One student saw me sitting in the cafeteria and voluntarily gave an honest but warm report on the school ("you come here to go to SCHO

Didnt really have a chance to interact with a lot of the staff, but the ladies in the admissions office were all very friendly.


Appearance of Campus:

Small, but very well kept.


Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:

Our tour guide showed us his dorm room, which looked nice and actually pretty spacious as dorms go. The dinning hall was well-maintained and it's a very clean campus overall.


Dormitories:

Above average size; the ones we saw were reasonably well kept.


Security/Safety:

Didn't really feel a big security presence, but our tour guide said it really wasn't much of an issue over there.


Overall Campus Impression:

Very nice. Deffinitley became my first choice school after visiting.

From the little I saw of it, it seems like a nice place.

Campus Visit Notes for Goucher College


Visit Description:

Honestly, I'd visited before the Early Decision deadline, because after my visit, I knew this was the school I wanted to go to. I wound up applying Early Action and I'm really hoping I'll be gettin' one of them thick packets come February. Students were very friendly, campus was beautiful, and the academics sound more than promising. I love their study abroad program and that it's mandatory. Really hoping I get in after my visit.
