Visit Activities:
Information Session:
Yes - An intern presented the information session and I learned about research and how easy it would be if someone wanted to change majors (except BME major).
Campus Tour:
Yes - We toured the whole undergrad campus and my tour guides were pretty entertaining. The dorms are really secure and the rock climbing wall in the fitness building was so cool.
Classroom Visit:
Yes - Well.. on the campus tour, we got to sit in a classroom. The chairs were pretty comfy and in the classroom the tour guides told us that only introductory classes have a large number of students.
Campus:
Friendliness/Courtesy of Students:
5 - Excellent
A student walked me near the Admissions Office and we talked about the school in general.
Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:

On my way to the information session, the campus police helped me find my way there.
Appearance of Campus:
5 - Excellent
I love the red brick buildings!
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
5 - Excellent
I drank coffee at Pura Vida (a coffee place near Admissions Office). The library was fascinating! The library is mostly underground!
Security/Safety:

I saw at least three campus policemen while I was walking to the admissions office.
Overall Campus Impression:
5 - Excellent
Definitely a safe place even if it is in the heart of Baltimore.
Off-Campus:
Campus Visit Notes for Johns Hopkins University
Visit Description:
Honestly, my mom and I woke up late the morning of the information session. We had to rush over and we found, to our dismay, that the Admissions Office was on the OTHER side of the campus. We power walked and got to the admissions office in 15 minutes. During the information session, the intern who was presenting said it takes around 15 minutes to walk from one end of the campus to the other and my mom and I looked at each other, laughing.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
Stayed at a very expensive hotel right in front of the school (Inn at the Colonnade?). A very convenient place to sleep if you are visiting JHU.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
Inn at the Colonnade (even though it is on the other side of campus relative to the admissions office). (They give you free choco chip cookies when you check in!)
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
