Admissions Interview: No - We attended an early action accepted students' open house. The event was generally a mob scene, but if you were clever you could still get something out of it.
Information Session: Yes - We only attended the engineering info sessions on this visit. They were informative and honest.
Campus Tour: Yes - The tours were HUGE. We didn't do the campus tour (we've done it before). The housing tour was very large and we couldn't hear a thing.

Campus Visit Notes for Northeastern University
I like the educational goals of NEU a lot. I am a firm believer in the coop system, and I suspect that NO ONE does it better than NEU. They are up front that if a student isn't committed to the coop system, they probably should not be a Northeastern.
Kids we spoke to admit that the coop system does affect the community feeling of NEU. This school feels like it attracts a slightly more mature, focused student. It does not feel like party central. (Although I'm sure there is enough partying to go around.) I suspect that when students have on foot in the real world, and one foot in college, it does change their outlook a bit.
For an urban campus, this school does have a definite campus. It isn't gorgeous, but it is serviceable, and who wouldn't like being in the middle of Boston?! I do wish their buildings were a little better kept up though.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
We always stay with friends in Boston, so I have no helpful hints.
