Campus Visit Notes for Northwestern University
Visit Description:
so... i was really thankful that my sister gave me a tour because we got to go to special places that the tour guide does not generally take the other students.. the best kept secret of northwestern is the deerling... or deering library... you have to take some small door from the main library to get there... but it was so pretty... it had like high ceilings that were renaissance/baroque style... and they had historic stuff... oh it was like being in a time capsule.
i sat for a stats class.. and it was oh so boring!... but that's probably cause stats aint my thang... the history was interesting even though it was a large lecture... both professors were good and seemed interested in their fields..
the campus is gorgeous... especially since it was a nice sunny day... everything you hope for...
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
you can take the train and be in downtown chicago in twenty minutes... definitely convenient.
i suggest not having a car on campus since you need a permit.. which costs like 500 bucks.
