The Texas Medical Center is basically a stone's throw away from campus, and the Rice Village provides a lot of off-campus recreation/dining. [View Full Report]

Some very wealthy subdivisions surround the campus, and the medical buildings and restaurants and things are just a short walk away. [View Full Report]

Herman Park is gorgeous. There's even a train ride for little kids. There's wonderful museums to visit and the Texas Medical Center is right there. [View Full Report]

Can't ask for a better location... it is next to the world's largest medical center, a zoo, a big park, and Rice Village shopping area. It is about 5 miles from downtown Houston. [View Full Report]

Rice seems to be in a very nice area. Nice mansions show-case old money in the area. A short walk from the campus, there is the Rice village which features shops and cafes as well as shopping venues [View Full Report]

Houston is great. Rice is only 10 minutes from Uptown Houston. So many things to do. [View Full Report]

The Rice Village commercial area has a lot of shops and restaurants, and Downtown Houston is only a few minutes away. Rice is also located in a very safe, attractive area of Houston. [View Full Report]

Rice Village has practically everything. I recommend Cafe Brioche, El Meson, Brown Eyes Blue. Also, there are shopping and entertainment districts north of campus. Check out the museum district! [View Full Report]

There is a lovely residential area right behind and around rice. An art museum is in the near vicinity and the medical center is across the street. It is a well kept area with much construction. [View Full Report]

The area around campus is Houston. It's right in the city. The residential areas farther out are average income homes but the ones right down the street are in much better quality. [View Full Report]

Like a Palo Alto or Coral Gables, this is a university surrounded by an A+ bedroom community. And, you just a hop away fromt he football stadium and old Astrodome. [View Full Report]

The campus is in Southwest Houston and the area surrounding it is mostly old historic-looking neighborhoods. On the other side of the campus is the park and the Texas Medical Center. [View Full Report]
