Beautifully maintained--very "New Englandy" feel to the campus. The grounds were immaculate, and all of the bldgs. blended together nicely.

Only saw 1 dorm, and it was a typical dorm. The room we saw was not an actual student's room. However, there is a variety of housing options ranging from the typical dorm to suites, apts., etc.

Bristol is a very quaint, historic little town with a few restaurants, some cute shops, and museums. Great place to walk around, and it was very quiet early in the morning when we were there.

Campus Visit Notes for Roger Williams University

Visit Description:

We were told that the food is ranked in the top 5th percentile nationally for college food! The d.c. looked like it had quite a range of choices--you can even bring in a favorite recipe from home! Our tour guide told us there's always plenty of things to do on campus on the weekends. They also have a spring concert each year, and my daughter was quite impressed with the array of bands they've brought in in the past. Overall, very impressed with our visit and eager to learn more about this school!

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Across the way is one of the Newport Mansions--Blythedale--which I believe has many animal topiaries on the grounds. Also a number of museums in the area and a huge local farm down the road.
