I didn't have much contact with staff. So, I just gave this area a moderate rating.

Campus Visit Notes for San Jose State University
Visit Description:
My visit was decent. Everyone I met so far on campus was extremely friendly. The campus is very diverse and there's many different types of people there. Majority of the people attending the school are from the Bay Area. Although, there is a small population (like myself) from other surrounding cities.
There was a large and I mean LARGE homeless population on campus. Be prepared to have homeless carrying all of their world possessions plus more walking right besides you. It takes a lot away from the campus and even makes it look undesirable.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
There are plenty of nice hotels around to stay at. However, there are plenty of dumps to stay at near by too. Well, that comes with the territory of any city.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
I ate at a little hole in the wall right across the street on 7th and San Fernando I believe. It was okay. Some people were extremely friendly and others there looked like they've seen better day
