Campus Visit Notes for Stanford University

Visit Description:

The tour guide walked backward's the entire time talking to us about the campus and keeping up a good pace! There was a bit of "we're Stanford" attitude. The facilities on campus were excellent. Bicycle repair, computer repair...just like a small city. You wouldn't have to leave campus. The fact that we were not able to go into any of the buildings made the tour not so helpful. We did stay after the tour to go into the student center and have lunch (subway) and to go to the bookstore (fabulous). Some of the dorm choices sounded like being on vacation....private chefs prepare the meals in some of them 6 days/week. Wow!

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Parking was $5 at the designated lot.
