Campus Visit Notes for The College of New Jersey

Visit Description:

Overall impression: this school is very concerned with keeping up it's image as very selective, a public school version of an Ivy League college. The admissions officer several times mentioned how TCNJ is one of 'the most selective and competitive" schools on the East Coast.

Major factors in admission seem to be SAT scores and class rank. This would seem to maintain TCNJ bragging rights when it comes to the high selectivity of the students it admits. Top 10% of class rank, etc.
