Campus Visit Notes for The George Washington University

Visit Description:

What I like most about GW is that It feels like a college campus but in an urban setting. Small brick buildings, GW facilities, dorms, etc all located in a small section of the campus. The dining hall is not the greatest but I think you just have to be careful not to eat too much junk. The workout facilities were also very nice with a lot of workout equipment and rooms for classes. There is so much going on near the campus relative to new buildings and projects that was hard to take all of it in.

The students also seemed genuinely friendly ( even when I was not with my sibling). I met some current business students who answered some basic questions and were clearly involved in so many exciting activities!

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Stayed at the Marriott which was in walking distance to the campus. So many places to stay it just depends on how much you want to pay for a night.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Mostly ate in Georgetown.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Walked everywhere.
