Information Session: Yes - I felt it was pretty standard. I don't remember learning anything particularly useful. They had free hot chocolate though.
Campus Tour: Yes - Despite the freezing weather, I loved the tour! The campus was beautiful and I learned a lot about the special achievements of the college. I got to see the location of many historical events.

Campus Visit Notes for The University of Chicago
I visited in the winter, so it was incredibly cold, especially for someone from the south like me. However, the snow made the campus look especially gorgeous. I really liked the tour, where I learned a lot about the academic aspects of the school and I saw the places where lots of scientific achievements had happened. The tour guides were all foreign students, but they were all very great and friendly. One of them even knew someone else from my town.
