Visit Activities:

Admissions Interview: Yes - Got to talk to the admissions counselor about my application, which was very helpful. I even hand-carried one of the forms that I still needed to turn in. She was very helpful, reassuring, and nice.

Information Session: Yes - Three recent graduates (2nd Lieutenants) gave a very informative powerpoint, as well as discussed their experiences at the Academy. All had different experiences, but were very helpful.

Campus Tour: Yes - The cadet I shadowed basically took me everywhere I wanted between classes. Got to check out everything that time allowed. Got a good feel for the campus.

Classroom Visit: Yes - Got to sit in on a few classes (Calc II and English). Got a good feel of what it was like to be a student as well as a cadet. Teachers were friendly as well as the cadets.

Campus Visit Notes for United States Air Force Academy

Visit Description:

The USAFA is absolutely amazing. I'll be attending as a member of Class of 2013.

The cadets there might joke with you, saying "Don't do it" or "go to a real college and have fun." Obviously, if you know what the USAFA is all about, you'll know how to take it.
Don't take my word for it, visit it and see.

Work hard, keep in shape, succeed academically, and the USAFA becomes reality.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

The Elephant Bar is fantastic... a little expensive.
Chipotle right outside the North Gate.
