Visit Activities:
Admissions Interview:
Yes - The interview was really informal - the admissions counselor was so nice and explained to me all about different programs offered at UAF. I was really impressed by all the choices.
Campus Tour:
Yes - A Student Ambassador gave me my tour, and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. There is definitely a lot of history on this campus, and lots to do!
Classroom Visit:
Yes - I visited a freshman class on Rural Development. The teacher divided up the students in small groups and included me on the activity, which was really interesting.

The campus was big with lots of impressive facilities, especially in the sciences. It was also really cool to have a world class museum on campus where students can intern.

Fairbanks is a really great community, with everything you could want in a college town... unless you are looking for a big city.

Visit Description:
My visit was really positive - the staff seemed to care about whether I had a positive experience, and every student I met was extremely welcoming.
