Visit Activities:
Campus Tour:
Yes - Well I actually went for COSMOS summer program. But our RAs gave us a tour of campus on arrival day. We had a wonderful tour that was very informational and well organized. Campus was very nice.
Classroom Visit:
Yes - We visited many classrooms, lecture halls, libraries, and labs. ALL were very clean and Up to date.
Campus:

All students we saw on campus were very nice. And in some cases helpful. Happy....

All staff on campus that we interacted were friendly. From the cleaning ladies, food services, and gardeners to the book store clerks.
Appearance of Campus:

Wow beautiful campus. Sooo clean and well kept. New looking.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:

Dormitories:
4 - Very Good
They were ok. Nothing to rave about but still nice. I was in middle earth (whisper wood!) next to Pippins (food place) and although our particular building wasnt one of the best or newest, it was very
Security/Safety:

Irvine one of the safest cities in the US. and UCI is no exception
Overall Campus Impression:
5 - Excellent
I was very impressed and surprised. I dont think that UCI gets the credit that it deserves. I loved it and I think that you have to visit to get the full effect.
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus:
4 - Very Good
we didnt really go off campus but we would go to University Center (UCen) right next to campus and theres restraunts and other cool shops there.
City/Town/Community:
Irvine seems nice.
