Campus Visit Notes for University of California-Irvine

Visit Description:

Overall, the visit made my decision for me. I was so impressed with the campus and its location. It is far nicer than Berkeley and LA, and so much more centralized than all of the other campuses. I really like that it is in a very safe area, with clean air and nice weather. It is very accessible for all kinds of activities around Orange County as well as Southern California, yet you can always come back to the peaceful area of Irvine to rest and study. I really like having that choice and not being constantly annoyed by things like violence in Berkeley and LA, or having no big cities around like SB or the others. It's a nice median in a lot of ways. Plus the campus is gorgeous and the people are nice.
