Campus Visit Notes for University of California-Los Angeles

Visit Description:

During my visit to UCLA, there was a 26-hour non-stop dance marathon in Ackerman Union. The purpose of this event is to raise money for pediatric AIDS. Cool, UCLA!

Also, I saw students in Wilson Plaza practicing traditional Japanese dance w/ drumming. The female dancers were wearing pretty kimonos. This is a good example of the cultural influence in UCLA's student life.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

The best method of getting to lot 6 is to get off of the 405 at Wilshire Blvd East. Make a left on Westwood Blvd and travel the street all the way up to the dead end. Lot 6 is on your left.
