UCLA is smack in the middle of the richest neighborhoods in LA. The proximity to Hollywood is a major plus. Within a couple of blocks in the school you won't feel scared to unlock your car doors. [View Full Report] |

After walking around campus, we drove around LA for a short while; the area is nice, however traffic is bad, as to e expected in LA. Westwood is a good area for college students. [View Full Report] |

The area to the south of campus, Westwood, which is the only one we saw, looked very nice. It had a lot of restaurants and even a Trader Joe's! It was clean and looked upscale. [View Full Report] |

UCLA is not, as one would likely think, in Los Angeles Proper. It is actually situated in a very nice area called Westwood and it is extremely beautiful and upper-class (and expensive). [View Full Report] |

The 405 Freeway is right beside the campus. There is little to no air pollution. There are a lot of nice cars in the surrounding neighborhood too :) [View Full Report] |

You have Bel Air, Brentwood, Beverley Hills, Century City, etc all within walking distance of the campus. Westwood is a great college town, with tons of options for stuff to do. A car is not needed. [View Full Report] |
