Campus Visit Notes for University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Visit Description:

Great school! Too bad it is so competitive for students who would be applying out of state.

We loved our tour guide. His interests and personality were very similar to my sons which we interpreted that my son would be very comfortable in attending this school.

The one negative is that visitor parking is very from the admissions office and then because of the size of the group we had to walk even further to get to the Information center which made us late for the session.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

We saw this school on the way to visiting another college. Thus, we did not stay in the area.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Seems to be a lot of places near campus.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Very close to Raleigh/Durham Airport. We wished we had planned to stay in the area longer to see what the area had to offer.
