Visit Activities:
Information Session:
Yes - Information was presented in an appropriate and concise way. The speaker was actually funny; I laughed out loud multiple times. The only thing I disliked was that no brochures were easily available.
Campus Tour:
Yes - One sees most everything one might want to. Not too long, and packed with information. A good tour.
Campus:
Friendliness/Courtesy of Students:
4 - Very Good
They were very nice and friendly and seemed like a fun group of people. Cliques were apparent, and from eavesdropping on conversations it seemed that many cliques are judgmental of others.
Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:
4 - Very Good
Quite a friendly and helpful bunch. Seemed genuinely interested in students and others.
Appearance of Campus:
4 - Very Good
It's not a botanical paradise, but it's a very pretty campus.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
3 - Good
Clean for the most part. There was graffiti at a few places. I saw a bunch of students smoking together on the quad; the smell of smoke was sickeningly strong right around them.
Dormitories:
3 - Good
Didn't go inside. Residential areas seemed average.
Security/Safety:
5 - Excellent
Quite adequate. Shuttle services, security, emergency stations, etc.
Overall Campus Impression:
5 - Excellent
I would love to go here.
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus:
5 - Excellent
Franklin Street has quite a variety of shops and restaurants. There is a lot to do and tons of places to eat and shop.
City/Town/Community:
2 - Fair
Small town. A bit dull.
