Campus Visit Notes for University of North Texas

Visit Description:

UNT is amazing. Orientation made me feel good about my choice. Everyone is friendly (for the most part). The only bad thing is everyone pretty much broke into high school cliques on the 1st night and among them were stuck up blond girls who tanned too much (I wonder how they even got into college). The good thing is UNT is really a good choice. The staff really wants to help and they have a center for pretty much anything you can think of. Bonus: Students get a debit card about 2 weeks after orientation for their financial aid refund!

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

The dorm food is actually really good. They serve sushi and cheeseburgers along with vegetarian options.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Bringing your car isn't such a good idea. Space is VERY limited.
