Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - Usual fare. Lots on their history and place in the academic world. Some good advice regarding admissions--ED especially--and the essay, ie what they look for

Campus Tour: Yes - Average, nice girl though. It was an absolutely beautiful day--80degrees plus in early April--so campus was jumping. Group was WAY too big.

Campus Visit Notes for University of Pennsylvania

Visit Description:

As expected for an Ivy, a little bit stiff, but oozed tradition/seriousness. It was very busy the day we were there, so we felt like a number. Had the distinct impression a good number of people were from the surrounding area...whch sort of bloated the day.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

stayed downtown, took the subway there...beats finding parking

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

lots of good restaurants in the city. A fantastic Italian restaurant right accross from the school (near the button) called 'Penne'.
