The Penn Police are omnipresent, and there are TONS of safety measures involved. (My over-protective mother approves of me going.) But you still have to use common sense- you're in a city!! [View Full Report] |

Yeah, it's an urban setting, but Penn police are everywhere, as are the blue-light things. Beyond that, it's up to you to just use common sense. [View Full Report] |

Being right in downtown Philadelphia, it's probably as safe as possible, which might not be saying much. Use caution, especially at night. [View Full Report] |

Penn makes a big deal of on-campus security which seems well handled, but we're told most upperclasmen live off-campus and the surrounding neighborhoods get pretty sketchy very quickly. [View Full Report] |

Penn gets an undeserved reputation as an edgy campus. The security and campus police staff go above and beyond to ensure the safety of the students. The campus is well-lit and patrolled all day. [View Full Report] |
