Campus Visit Notes for University of Richmond

Visit Description:

Richmond is a very beautiful campus and one building was as beautiful as the next. Really pretty student center built over the lake that adjoins the two sides of campus. Cafeteria looked good with lots of seating. There was alot of activity on campus with kids walking around, playing on the quads, sitting under trees studying. Noticed how students seemed to know everyone which is probably because the school has only 3000 undergrads. Nice fitness facility with alot of kids working out. The tour probably ran a bit long and I am not sure it was necessary to see every inch of campus so there was alot of walking. The campus is surprisingly hilly also. Seems like if you were a student there would be alot of walking to and from different classes as the classroom buildings were spread out all over campus. Not sure if that would create a time issue going from one class to another. The administration and students all seemed to love their university and the visit was a pleasant surprise.
