Campus Visit Notes for University of Richmond
Visit Description:
Enjoyed our time on campus. The admissions counselor who led the info session covered everything from the history of the university to majors to financial aid/merit scholarship information. There was some construction in progress on campus which is always a good sign. The campus is beautiful and buildings are well-kept. There were very few students around and we would like to return when school is in session.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
We are local so did not have to stay overnight. There are the usual hotel/motel chains nearby.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
Plenty to choose from in the area.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
Local bus system needs improvement. A car would be necessary to do much off campus. Freshman are allowed to have cars.
