Campus Visit Notes for University of Tennessee-Chattanooga

Visit Description:

Visited in Fall of 2011 and again for daughter's Freshman orientation in June 2012. Found the staff to be professional, and the students we met were genuinely nice & welcoming.
The campus is very hilly & beautiful, especially the older buildings.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

The Mayor's Mansion Inn is the closest lodging to campus. we parked and never got back in the car. The Engineering building is literally right across the street from the Inn.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Yellow Deli - 70'2 hippie atmosphere and some seriously good food.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

We walked everywhere, but were told the bus system is user friendly. Haven't tested that yet.
