One student approached us asking for us to go to a pumpkin gala or something of the sort. Our tour guide politely declined but the student persisted and eventually wandered off.

Very accommodating.

Very nice! A lot of the buildings are old-looking on the outside but very nice on the inside. A lot of the buildings have that sort of ivy-covered feel.

Couldn't ask for more.

Small but most of the furniture is stackable.

It seems like they have a good community support system out there, and nighttime bus services.

Madison is adorable! A lot of small boutiques and such in which to shop.

Campus Visit Notes for University of Wisconsin-Madison

Visit Description:

Our tour guide, Emily, was amazing. At the beginning of the tour she went around and asked us all what we were interested in and our favorite breakfast cereal (we all came from the same high school). She let us know when we were going uphill and downhill and, apart from some of the super-sciency research stuff, really knew her facts. Made the campus very appealing and attractive and tried to cater to our interests based on what we said. Ok. I'll stop raving about her.

Seriously, though, I went here in October. Froze my butt off but the trees were still mostly colorful and pretty.

Kalahari. Enough said!

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Went to Five Guys. A little less than prompt service but excellent food.
