Information Session: Yes - Seemed really... meh. That's how I would describe it. They didn't really set Vandy apart from every other college out there. It was average.
Campus Tour: Yes - Pretty campus. Large sprawling lawns, big buildings, stepped in history, etc. But too big (physically) for me.

Campus Visit Notes for Vanderbilt University
I attended for one of the bigger campus visit days. It's one of those things where they have all the clubs/organizations set up in the building and then have you split up into the college you're interested in (A&S, engineering, education, etc). Overall, I was just unimpressed with the school. Nothing really stood out for me. The campus, as I've said, was also reallyyyy big. It was a pretty campus, but not for me. As well, I just HATED Nashville.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
I think we stayed in a Drury Suites adjacent to campus. One of the staffers was quite rude to us (which resulted in us getting our room comp'd :D). The room was nice, and so was the breakfast.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
The "Parthenon" is a waste of time. I was unimpressed.
