Information Session: Yes - Informative, concise, and to the point.
Campus Tour: No - I loved it! It was the perfect weather for a tour, and leaves were everywhere. I deftinately got a rustic, quaint vibe from the campus. There's lots of pretty and historic buildings

Campus Visit Notes for Vanderbilt University
I went on the diverseVU tour from 8-3 pm. It was a great experience. We had breakfast, discussion with deans, admissions, financial aid, student panels, lunch at the Commons, and a campus tour. The tour was great. My tour guide was nice and very informative. Vandy seemed like a very caring environment. They especially seemed to emphasize lots of diversity and the involvement of students on campus is pretty evident.
Although I had already applied before coming to vandy, being there made everything so much more better and concrete. I loved it.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
