Visit Activities:

Admissions Interview: Yes - The admissions person was a total turn off. She just kept talking about how much she "loved" WSU and how awesome it was when she was a student here. Totally not cool.

Campus Tour: Yes - The tour guide was totally fake. EVerything was good and nothing was bad. Just totally not real. My mom said it was like talking to a car salesman. (I asked if that meant I was getting a car. Nope.)

Campus:

Friendliness/Courtesy of Students:
1 - Poor
1 - Poor
Two stduents totally freaked me out. They were so clearly following the tour group and checking out the girls and saying rude things. Worst tour ever, and the tour guide didn't do anything about

Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:
5 - Excellent
5 - Excellent
Best part of the visit was talking to the faculty person. She was super nice and asked lots of really good questions about what I wanted to do.

Appearance of Campus:
3 - Good
3 - Good
Lots of pavement and roads.

Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
3 - Good
3 - Good
They're expanding the stadium or something, and that's all our tour guide would talk about. He was big into football, which is funny because WSU always loses!

Dormitories:
2 - Fair
2 - Fair
One student said the dorms are super crowded because they admit too many people. Three people live in dorm rooms built for two people! Whoa.

Security/Safety:
2 - Fair
2 - Fair
I didn't even feel safe on my tour, and campus is just so big.

Overall Campus Impression:
2 - Fair
2 - Fair
Worst college I visited on my spring trip. I'd pick any other public school in the state.

Off-Campus:

Area Immediately Around Campus:
5 - Excellent
5 - Excellent
Very pretty, just like EWU or WWU!

City/Town/Community:
3 - Good
3 - Good
Small town without much to do. The worst part is that Spokane and airport are more than two hours away.

Campus Visit Notes for Washington State University

Visit Description:

I just didn't like it. Everything felt just a little wrong, and that added up to a lot wrong. I guess if you really like partying and cliques and creepers who follow you on your tour, then maybe, but it definitely wasn't the place for me.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Just okay.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Ate a bad burger but had a good turkey sandwich.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

So many cars, and campus is so big! That part wasn't very fun.
