Campus Visit Notes for Wellesley College
Visit Description:
This visit sealed the deal with me. All of my indecision was erased after my first day on campus. The camaraderie of the cross country/track team was strong, the dorm food was excellent, the campus was beautiful and bustling, and everyone was friendly and accommodating. I can't say enough about the great girls that hosted me and gave me a camps tour--they were unbelievably understanding and made me feel at home & among friends. Religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity is embraced at Wellesley, and the support for alternative lifestyles is very obvious to anyone visiting campus. The only complaint I have is of the lack of air conditioning in the indoor track area where the fitness equipment is.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
My father stayed in the Hampton Inn in Natick, which is about an 8 minute ride from campus. Lovely, clean hotel with newly designed rooms and common area where a great breakfast was served.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
Dorm food was amazing, especially at Tower. The student center (Lulu) was great, as well. Lots of veg options
