Visit Activities:

Admissions Interview: Yes - The guy I talked to was really nice and easy to talk to.

Campus Tour: Yes - Campus was really pretty. There's one spot that was all brick and kind of ugly, but otherwise pretty nice. I really like the close hiking trails.

The students I saw were polite, but some kid on a bike almost ran over my mom and didn't even say sorry.

Everybody was really nice to us, especially the professors.

I definitely like campus. The little bubbly statue-turtle thingies are super cute!

We didn't go in all the buildings, but I liked the ones they showed us.

It's not as safe as some schools, but it's way safer that WSU and UW.

Love it! It's definitely one of my top choices.

Off-Campus:

There's some stuff close by, but you have to go downtown for other things, and you really have to go to Seattle or Vancouver if you want to big city things.

Downtown is cool, but you can tell it's smaller than some other places.

Campus Visit Notes for Western Washington University

Visit Description:

Our tour guide was good. She seemed stressed with school, but I guess that's normal.

Other than the rude guy on the bike who nearly ran into my mom, it was pretty nice. I like that it was so green, but the rain in the morning was a bit annoying.

Okay. We stayed downtown.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

I had a burger on campus that wasn't awesome, but I also had a turkey sandwich that really good.

Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):

Downtown is cool and really cute.
