Visit Activities:


Information Session: Yes - Info session was fairly informal, with lots of interaction between admin counselor and students. Good advice given and some straightforward discussion of the Christian aspect of the college. Funny h

Campus Tour: Yes - Excellent tour, over an hour on a small campus. Most time spent in student center, athletic facilities and chapel. We saw a typical dorm room, and went into a couple of academic buildings but did no

Tour guide was very friendly and open to all questions. I did not expect her to be loud enough since tour group was fairly large, but she managed to project, even over lawn mower noise.

It was a summer visit so lots of maintenance and grounds work. Also new construction of a major science building that we had to detour around. You could tell the campus would be looking great by the

I thought most of the buildings were recent construction, but the tour guide told me that some of those were over 10 years old. Even the older buildings are well-maintained.



Dormitories:
3 - Good

We saw one suite - two rooms connected by bathroom. Pretty typical dorm room. Only one closet to share. Concrete block walls. Furniture is modular and beds can be bunked or stacked on dressers.

Christian school in small town - should be pretty safe!

Campus is adjacent to quaint downtown Wheaton, and nice residential neighborhoods.

Nice small town with lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Beautiful public library. Train station to downtown Chicago (40 minute ride) is right next to campus.

Visit Description:

Make sure to take them up on the offer for free lunch. Food is rated one of the best in the country! Selection is limited in the summer, but the desserts were pretty good.

Tour is first, followed by Info Session.

You can see the actual wardrobe that inspired The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis! It's right on campus.
