Campus Visit Notes for Wofford College

Visit Description:

This school is not well-known outside of the south. It is worth looking at since it offers a quality education with lots of chances for merit money. There is a very strong alumni network. Lots of second, third and fourth generation students. Greek life is strong, but parties are open to all and there is a strong sense of community among the students. The January term is required and after 4 years the student has 12 credits- the equivalent of a semester, so it is very easy to graduate in 4 years.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

Merriott offers a discount- $97 and is about a half mile away.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

Lime Leaf Thai- very good.
