Visit Activities:
Admissions Interview:
No - My D is a rising junior, so no interview, but they had openings and were conducting them while we were there.
Information Session:
Yes - Conducted by one of the Admissions Officers in a large hall. He was very funny and actually went to Yale, so talked of his personal experience. He ran out of time, though.
Campus Tour:
Yes - Conducted by a recent graduate who was fascinating and also from California. Took us to see the Gutenberg Bible. Told us alot about the architecture. Very nice tour.

Area Immediately Around Campus:
Best thing was the Carillon concert that night. Amazing.

Seemed very safe, compared to where I went to school (Berkeley and S.F.)
Campus Visit Notes for Yale University
Visit Description:
Yale is now my D's first choice. It is a beautiful campus with wonderful things like "shopping for a class" for the first two weeks of the term. The campus is very much like something out of Hogwarts!
