Campus Visit Notes for Yale University

Visit Description:

The school is trying to expand the science program which is great. The school has a shopping period each semester where you can sample courses before you commit to them. My daughter likes that feature (which Brown has too) and also the residential colleges where the school is broken down into smaller parts. I think the dorms are probably crowded for my taste especially for freshmen but my daughter, an only child and a very social being, doesn't mind. There are many opportunities for conducting research.
