The guy who toured me and my family around was very nice, informative, and down to earth making the campus tour more casual than anything. I loved it; he described the campus better than anyone else. [View Full Report] |

It seemed to be more of the highlights of Yale for tourists than for prospective students. Interesting sites, but when we were done didn't have a strong impression of what its like to be a stude [View Full Report] |

Very high energy tour guide. Hit all the high points. Best parts were when we went back after the tour and went at our pace through halls and classrooms and common areas. So much to take in! [View Full Report] |

The tour guide didn't walk backwards the entire time - just during some important bits. It was nice to have some downtime between stops, unlike other tours where guides ramble on the entire time [View Full Report] |

Our tour guide was fun and a little irreverent. He didn't do the backwards walking thing that I guess a lot of tour guides do. He was very helpful in answering questions about life and academics. [View Full Report] |

We went on two types of tours--a general one and a science one. They were both good but the science guide was great...and a role model for anyone. [View Full Report] |

Tour guide was excellent, one of the best at any of the schools we toured. Tour was very informed and the campus was nice despite some construction going on at the time. [View Full Report] |

A young lady (soph) did a nice job outlining the major points of campus, reviewing the residential college system etc. It was a walking tour of the buildings including the rare books library. [View Full Report] |

Eh. Not bad. If your intent is to see the exteriors of the buildings, and get a feel for the campus, definitely go. However, if you want to see the insides of the buildings, you will be disappointed. [View Full Report] |

Fantastic, but very humanities based. The guide was really nice and we even ran into a professor who talked about the Psychology dept. My only complaint was that it completely overlooked the sciences. [View Full Report] |

Our guide was a really bright young foreign language major. She was very friendly and gave just the right amount of information, but lots of details about things that distinguished student life. [View Full Report] |

It was freezing! But our guide was hillarious and had a warm, endearing personality. He was able to weave all the facts we needed to know together with funny antidotes, making the cold very bearable. [View Full Report] |

I've never met a tour guide who talked so quickly. A lot of pushy prospective students with the "I have to make an impression so I can get in" attitude, which was a let-down, but my tour guide was really approachable and fun to talk to. He [View Full Report] |

My tour guide was amazing. She was an Asian senior from Great Britain. She had a very hipster fashion sense, and was also a radio talk show host there at Yale. She was very articulate and told so much about the Yale atmosphere. She wasn't afraid to v [View Full Report] |

Again - Yale trains their people very well to do this kind of thing. It's not that the tour was polished, but rather that the tour guide knew exactly what would be interesting... no long-winded recitation of dates. Our tour guide revealed that she [View Full Report] |
