Ok thanks that helped so much. For the CLE, do they restrict you to taking electives that relate to engineering, or is it pretty much anything listed in the 4 areas?

You can take any in the areas. The point of the CLE classes is so that you'll take things that aren't necessarily related to engineering, though there are usually a couple in each area that are somewhat related.

The second semester of American History is pretty easy and relatively interesting. Intro to Humanity, Science and Technology is a pretty cool class too, if you don't mind writing and reading a little.

And you can take that 1 credit Art class and get that CLE completely done.

Right. It can be a little hard to get in as a freshman but if you can take it then do asap.

When i'm adding classes, some have staff instead of a specific teacher (the one i'm looking at is econ 2005). I heard stegeman is the teacher to try to get at all costs, but there are 4 econ 2005 classes all labeled staff. Do you know when they usually designate which teacher gets which class, and will it automatically update?

It would be an elective for me (possibly a minor eventually) so if i don't get in any econ class it's no huge deal. Thanks
