Should I write all 3 essays?

I wrote up three optional essays for Virginia Tech. Two of them are very strong, but one is just average and on the weaker side. I am asking if just submitting the two I like is good enough. After all they are "optional."

Little about me:
3.92 GPA
630 math 630 reading 550 writing (Retook the SAT last week, and I'm sure everything's going up)
Only a few extracurrics (kind of my weak point)
5 passed APs (6, including this year)
Rigorous classes

Though you may or may not need it, I'd say go for it.

If you're even remotely thinking about grad school, there's a ton of writing and revising involved in those applications. The earlier you start working on personal statements, (albeit these aren't nearly as serious) and the revision process (serious revision) the better.

If you think that you "don't have time" to write the essays...good luck in college.
