Visit Activities:


Admissions Interview: No - The best tour and info session of all the places we visited.

Information Session: Yes

Campus Tour: Yes - Beautiful. "Drinking isn't peer pressured" according to tour guide. Town nearby is small. Pizza place is popular. Dorms are great.

Very small. But if you like small towns, it's very quaint and beautiful. Not far from Boston, and there are regular bus excursions to Boston.

Visit Description:

Amherst takes letters of recommendation "from anyone," they said. Employers, summer school teachers, etc.

Very nice admission staff.
