Its definitely a rural campus, however, this is aided somewhat by the fact that its part of a 5 college consortium. From my understanding, that really helps improve Amherst's social life. [View Full Report] |

Amherst is a <i>really</i> small town, so when I stayed for a longer period of time in July '06, the whole place seemed dead. I bet it's a lot better when the schools are all in session, but don't expect a metropolis. [View Full Report] |
