Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - We went to the information session where students came forward to talk about their experiences at BC. On the whole, it was informative, and I felt that I was given an accurate and wholistic impression on of the college.

Campus Tour: Yes - The campus was stunning, and we were impressed with the facilities in general. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. I'd say that the Campus tour was probably the most worthwhile part of the visit.

I was really impressed by the security on campus. BC has call boxes everywhere, and the security staff that we met were diligent, yet still friendly.

The area immediately around BC is a very wealthy suburb of Boston. As a result, it's safe and attractive.

The campus is located a stone's throw from Boston, which for me was a huge perk.

Campus Visit Notes for Boston College

Visit Description:

I was very impressed with BC. The facilities were excellent, and I was really drawn to the close proximity to Boston.

The only turn-offs I experienced was the size of the undergraduate population and the fact that freshman parking is extremely limited.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

We stayed at the Elliot in Boston, and I would really recomend it. The hotel had a charming, boutique feel and the staff could easily give directions to all the local attractions and universities.
