Visit Activities:


Information Session: Yes - We were given a private tour by a colleague of moms. The information session however was great. A very International School and they are proud of that.

Campus Tour: Yes - Wonderful! Mom's friend took us everywhere! Even inside classes and to meet department heads!

Classroom Visit: Yes - Great experience!

I didn't not interact with many when we went. Only when we were take to lunch and they were very nice and answered our questions. Lunch was "No Parents Allowed!"

Stretched out! The length of Commonwealth Avenue!

Very clean.



Dormitories:
Many different types of living facilities because is located near downtown. Several were converted residential buildings and those are beautiful!



Security/Safety:
We did not hear much about security. Perhaps on the regular tour we would have received more information.

Not your typical campus, but seemed a fun place to be.

Campus Visit Notes for Boston University


Visit Description:

This is a great location for students! Lots to do and many other schools located within trolley distance; Boston College, Northeastern, dozens of smaller schools. It is a great place to spend four years if you don't mind the snow! The changes in the seasons are beautiful!

Lots to do without a car:
Professional Sports- Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics
Fine dining
Museums
Boston Pops- free during the summer when they give concerts on the Hatch Shell
4th of July Fire Works on the Charles with the Pops playing is the "Bomb"
New England Aquarium
shopping
Beaches within 1 hour drive
Beautiful parks-Boston Commons-oldest public park in America
Great History!
"Duck Tours"! (a must for visitors)

Day trips to:
New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Camp Cod, Connecticut
Whale Boat trips from the pier
Boat trip to Provincetown
Dining on ocean off the Boston pier

Even if you don't attend school here, please visit!
