Chilly in March, but in a good part of town.

Thayer street has a lot of shops and small places to eat. The store owners are really friendly--the owner of the Indian goods store always gives you free rings and bracelets just for coming in.

Providence is right there! It's a quaint and cute city/town. And Thayer Street lacks very little (in terms of what a college student needs anyway!) The upkeep needs a little work (think cracked sidewalk, random contents of Dumpster out and about)

I love Providence and the areas surrouding the campus. The area is not so intense and crowded that it makes you feel like you've stepped into a completely different environment, but it definitely gives you the feeling that you have undoubtly stepped

Plenty of restaurants, movie theatres, and stuff to do. Only problem is that downtown Providence has about the cleanliness of NYC.
