Visit Activities:

Yes - The worst one of these I've sat through, conducted by the director of international admissions, who spoke in a monotone voice and couldn't work his power point.
The only student we came into contact with was the tour guide. There were few students around.

Campus Visit Notes for Bucknell University
Visit Description:
I would not recommend visiting this campus in the summer as there was no sign of life at all on campus. It was also very disappointing that the bookstore was closed the weekend we were there (poor planning on their part).
Despite some impressive facilities and programs, our daughter was very turned off by the locale--there really is nothing to do off campus and campus is not that big.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
Lewisburg Hotel--do not stay there.
Yes, it's within walking distance. That's its only redeeming feature.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
We had an excellent dinner at Elizabeth's --the high point of the visit.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
Lewisburg does up fourth of July in a big way. The fireworks display was fantastic.
