Campus Visit Notes for Bucknell University
Visit Description:
We decided to visit Bucknell to see if a LAC was a good fit for my daughter. She is interested in Engineering and since she liked our visit to Villanova I assumed that Bucknell would be a good place to visit. Well my wife and I really liked Bucknell, but my daughter saw it differently. We liked that it was clean, beautiful, and friendly. My daughter said the school screams boring. It happened that there was a home football game that day and our tour guide was asked who's Bucknell playing today. He answered - I don't know, I don't follow football. My daughter took this as a lack of school spirit couple with the fact that about 100 people attended the game. We also visited the Engineering facility. It is obvious that Bucknell student received a top-notch education. Class sized are small with a very hands on approach to engineering. However, Bucknell is off of our list.
