Visit Activities:

Admissions Interview: Yes - The interview was conducted by a Bucknell senior and took about 30 minutes, the last 10 minutes with the parent in the room.

Information Session: Yes - The information session was very helpful because it talked about what makes Bucknell different and what the school looks for in a student.

Campus Tour: Yes - I have taken two campus tours and the tour guides are always willing to answer any questions and are very informative.

Classroom Visit: Yes - I stayed overnight with an engineer, so I visited calculus, physics, and an engineering course. All the classes were small, under 30 students, and the professors were very engaging.

Lewisburg is a very small town and there's not much to do there. However, it is very quaint and when I was on my overnight, my mom spent the day exploring Lewisburg and had a great time.

Campus Visit Notes for Bucknell University

Visit Description:

I have visited Bucknell four times, and each time I love it even more. As an accepted early decision student, I cannot wait to go to Bucknell in the fall. Everything about the school seems perfect: the campus is beautiful, the students are very friendly, the classes are interesting, and Lewisburg is small but lovely.

Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:

We always stay at the Country Inn and Suites and love it there. It's very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

The drive-ins on the other side of the Susquehanna. They offer a great view of the river and delicious food.
